Ticket touting

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone knows how you can legally resell tickets and make a profit. Where do companies get their tickets from to resell? When you buy tickets from places like Ticketmaster the condition is you don't sell them, I'm assuming that the big ticket reselling companies online don't buy their tickets from Ticketmaster and sell on.

I was just wondering if anyone knows where I can get hold of some information about it.

I think the only answer is to leave the UK where selling tickets at inflated prices is allowed.

I remember seeing one of these companies on BBC's Watchdog recently. They were selling tickets for several times their face value, which wasn't illegal as they were based somewhere in Eastern Europe.
