Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

a left sloping z rounded at the two corners with a right sloping diagonal line going through the centre of the z making it resemble a fancy drawn x the answer is a well known film, any help would be appreciated, many thanks

Please tell me this isnt from the Macmillan dingbats that only came out this week and doesnt close till August
from the description it looks awfully like number 36

hi, smouse, no i haven't heard of that quiz, this is just a film dingbat out of 25 general dingbats that one of my sons brought home from college, he has done 23 of them and is now stuck. i have been trying to help him but the only thing i can come up with is the mark of zorro but i don.t think this is correct, have you any ideas please

I dont and as I say oddly enough it is in the new dingbat quiz so maybe it is easier than we both think

no problems, if you get any inspirations let me know and i will do the same. the only other idea i.ve got is the film '10' with dudley moore but this does not really explain the fancy x , you would think an ordinary x would suffice although if it easier than we think it could be it, best of luck.

Well I am speechless and obviously stupid

I believed it wasnt from the pendle dingbats why wouldnt I but as I was trying to find another I found another one the same and have replied to that thread and even then still believed you

Why on earth you felt the need to tell me such a lie I dont know

I now thanks to the reinstated search facility see you asked on last years christmas and film dingbats for the hospice.

Why couldnt you have just said you wanted to ask now I wasnt being rude with my first comment so this was totally unneccessary

dear smouse, i thought you were rude, when i go on this site i do it for help and not to be told that it is the wrong time to ask ,which is then posted as an answer

I was not in my first reply rude I was just making the point that it was only 2 days after the quiz had come out

Guess it depends why you enter the quiz - just to win or to enjoy the pleasure of trying to solve them too
