21 Answers
Hi everyone,
I went to a fete this afternoon and picked up the local quiz - 100 famous couples eg Adam & Eve, Barbie & Ken. I have completed 89 and am stuck on the other 11. Having googled to get inspiration, and failing, I am now turning to you wonderful and clever people. They are all in alphabetical order.
9 Colonel's carer plus Christmas bird (the answer falls between Barney & Betty Rubble and Bill & Ben) Turkey ?
13 America's Jimmy followed by delicate frills (Butch & Sundance and Cain & Abel)
28 He was her third, she was number eight's first (Echo & Narcissus and Flanagan & Allen) Catherine ?
39 Twickenham Stoops Rugby team plus wayside flower (Hansel & Gretel and Hillary & Tenzing)
51 Two hard-backed insects collaborate in song (Laurel & Hardy and Learner & Lowe)
55 Well thet would say that wouldn't they (Margaret & Dennis Thatcher and Marks & Spencer)
62 Victory's captain and Emma (Napoleon & Josephine and Paris & Helen)
64 Did he work his magic on this lovely lady (Paris & Helen and Phillip & Fern)
69 Did she ring his bell? (Pyramus & Thisbe and Randall & Hopkirk)
93 This poor boy replaces the king's son (Tarzan & Jane and ?) The prince and the pauper?
94 O'Sullivan & Kray, or Reagan & Hilton ( ? and Torvill & Dean)
99 They graduated from bicycles to airplanes (Wayne & Waynetta and Yogi & booboo)
Many thanks for any help.

I was puzzling over MANdy and MARgaret, so MAGgie it is then.
Edward V111 - the kicking bruise is getting bigger - just never occured to me.
I am going with the Prince and the Pauper. Especially as the two ronnies seems to be an answer.
Many thanks to all once again.
