Do any of the tabloids let you enter crosswords on line?

The Times does but membership is �25 a year - still a bargain if you are not buying the paper. The observer is available on-line but I think you have to print it off and then post it. They are looking at making all the crosswords interactive but not at the moment. Again, this costs �25 a year.

Both these memberships give you daily puzzles, all the prize ones and monthly "specials".

I think the Scotsman is free at the moment - they were charging �25 but had so many problems that they had to suspend charging. This is not the best value as you only get the 6 daily ones plus factfinders, none on Sunday and no specials but if it is free you might like to try it out - you do have to post in your entries though.

Thanks for that. If the prizes are good enough it might be worth "investing" on one of them as I don't buy the paper.
