Competition Prizes
10 Answers
Have you ever won anything in a competition? I won tickets, hotel, eurostar, the works to the Rugby World Cup Final in Paris (and turned them down)! With the benefit of hind sight it was one of the worst decisions I have ever made (boy am I glad they lost). My OH didn't speak to me for a week. I was just being to practical about it, logistics, the kids etc, don't ask!

When the bloke called me to say I'd won a carpenter was knocking seven bells out of the kitchen, my daughter was having a mega strop and you had to be on Eurostar at 5.30am the following day. It was just an aaahhhh, not now moment. I had to give him names of who was going rather than being able to find someone to go.
Hi Lakitu,
It was nothing exciting (sadly).
Nothing like "I sold my soul for 50p", or anything like that.(lol)
It was when they used to have a "We Love Our Pets" page, I wrote in with a story about one of my pets. Hubby and I rescued animals for many years, so I had lots of stories to tell.
I was a bit miffed, 'cos they changed so much of it - they very nearly re-wrote it, b*ggers!
