Do you still have or collect cuddly toys or love going to the zoo or circus or similar?

i have a massive beano and dandy annual collection. i never read them bu, they just sit on a shelf collecting dust but they remind me of Christmas when i were a lad!!!
I have a teddy which I was given as a baby, and a rabbitwith no eyes.Enjoy going to the zoo. Still like watching programmes like Little House on the Prairie as well.
No not anymore, I had a few teddys, but they've since been snaffled by Mini Boo :-(
I kept a few teddies but my eldest now has them. I dont think I wilkl ever grow out of the old kids tv programmes though. I get to watch them all again because my 7 yr old loves them!
I always loved Bill and Ben best out of the watch with mother programmes. When they were with the Happy Meals at McDonalds a few years ago I had to have them and they proudly sit on my kitchen window sill waving to each other. I also now have a bigger version of Ben hanging on a crook in my garden amongst the flowers but I bring him in when its really cold
I have bought DVD's of Mr. Benn, Bagpuss and Cpt. Pugwash. Sad, but still fantastic to watch! I have seen The Herbs for sale and will buy that soon.

The Magic Roundabout , watched it with my friends 7 year old daughter who was not impressed ,the kids of today etc etc
My memories, I tend to refect a lot on what was, I had such a great childhod, just wish my darling mum was still here to talk to.
Ah ray... :(
Hello Jenna, how are you feeling today?
I can be quite a big kid, I love the zoo, kiddy films, getting messy! How about you?
xx
Also, don't want to let go of my parents. But that is inevitable really...Oh, now I am sad thinking on that.
I want to hang on the memory of my mothers arms around me as we used to hug ...and the memory of my father coming in from work covered in lime dust .....
Hi Jenna!
Some nice answers! I suppose for me it's Halloween! My mum use to really go to town! Suppose like a big kid I carry it on. I like to treat the kids when they knock on the door. Christmas too for the same reason, mum made it extra special! xxx
idyllic summer holidays with mum and dad at Littlehampton, building sandcastles and reinforcing them with pebbles and seaweed to prevent the sea washing them away (as if we could!) Brings a lump to my throat as both parents have now gone.xx
I ALWAYS watch Disney movies on Xmas day. Ever since I was 4, and my father brought me to see my first movie at the cinema, it was Snow White, and it scared the hell out of me! lol
Christmas wouldn't be the same if I didn't watch at least one. :O)
When I was in hospital recently I was looking at the TV whilst waiting for the Consultant to come and see me the evening before my op.
Unfortunately, I had found a channel showing some cartoons that dated to when I was a child.
I was having quite a good time and when he came to see me I think he thought I was an idiot.
Mind you I probably am, I confess to a liking for Spongebob!! lol
I am sad now too, Leelapops. Skyep, I've always loved Halloween, but I lost my Mum last 31st October and now I don't feel I can celebrate it in the same way. Have a lump in my throat now!
Hi Leela, don't be sad, be happy, if I had not had the mum I had, I would not be the me I am, my mum was the best, I was very lucky, she stood by me when things were bad,

Sir Alec, please try to enjoy haloween, of course it will never be the same, but would you rather be sad than remember the good times you had? would your mum want you to be sad, be happy you had a mum that gave you love and great memories.
Ray, thank you for your kind words. My Mum got annoyed by trick or treaters, she said it was an American tradition. She died at home and the presence of the police at the door kept the kids away, so she had revenge on them in her way!
Hi Sir Alec, that is very sad, but it has humour in it as well, she really did have the last laugh, a few words for you, hope you like them take care, Ray

Memories are the Loveliest thing
They last from day to day
They can't get lost,
They don't wear out
and can't be given away.
