Roudhon by any other name
7 Answers
I'm trying to answer a quiz question about an earthquake in 'Roudhon' but can't find any reference to a place of this name so think it must be a misspelling. I've tried alternative names without any luck.
Please could anyone suggest which place it could be. Thanks.

Thanks, wilmay, but I'd only try that after I've had a go at all the questions in the quiz in case there's anything else. Have you rang the lady by any chance?

No I haven't! When I was searching for this answer before, I got an Iranian news article from google which mentioned Roudhon, and an earthquake..........so I ve put this as my answer. However, when I was trying to refind it today, all that came up from google was the french chap Proudhon. So, don't know if that's any help or not. Some of these questions are very obscure, but I suppose that's better than being too easy. I'm stumped on the river that runs under Madrid (among a few others, lol), but I'll keep at it. Good luck.
Thanks wilmay, I've found it now. In case it helps anyone else, the name of the place is variously spelled as 'Roodbar', ' Rudbar' and 'Roudbar' so at least three of the letters were wrong in the question.
I haven't got the Madrid river yet either but I'll keeep working on it - at least I know where the place is!
