12th July in Northern Ireland time for parades and celebrations remembering Battle of Boyne etc. It is a public holiday when normally everything shuts down. This year Shopping Centres and big stores are open for the first time! Great news! At least everyone can celebrate in their own way, march or shop!
Wonderful what peace and reconcilation can do!

Northern Ireland not too far away, get the the same type of weather! and rivalry with football teams!!
do they play football in northern Ireland then, ? i always thought they had more sense than the english. :-)
football here is akin to cattle running around a field in the summer to escape the flies

Bobtheturkey not much of that going on as there hasn't been any summer,Yet! usually gets better around the 12th for other things to run round the fields!
