Thanks Tichfield and CheekyChick for your help .
5 + 6 + 7 = X. Divide 108 by X. Mutilply by 5.
10 If there were 42 in Yellow then there were

42/7X6 = 36 in Blue

If there were 36 in Blue then there were

36/6X5 = 30 in Red

42+36+30 = 108

So the answer is 30 in Red.
Your tiddlywinks question is an algebra problem.
5 x Red + 6 x Blue + 7 x Yellow = 108 or
5R + 6B + 7Y = 108
Add 5 + 6 + 7 = 18.
108 divided by 18 = 6
So out of the 108 there were
5 x 6 Red, 6 x 6 Blue and 7 x 6 Yellow.

Your answer is 30 in the Red Target.
confirm c b a d e Red 30 blu 36 yellow 42. 5+6+7=18. 108divide by 18=6 take iddle number,6, multiply by6=36. 5x6=30 7x6=42.
