Thought sluice, but that would make Boer wrong for 'Dutch Settler in S.Africa'. Can anybody help please.

hi magyar-seen this on on earlier from you-assume it wasnt answered--only remote thing i can get is -jacob de MIST was a dutch settler in s africa--this would make sluice correct ??????

Thanks for the suggestion beejay1124, but it wasn't me asking earlier. Unfortunately the search engine isn't working so didn't know it had been previously asked, I'll have to check back.
I'm afraid it can't be Mist though, because the r from Boer is from the middle of Icarus which I'm fairly certain is correct too.

Thanks for finding the previous posting beejay1124. Looks like I'm not the only one stuck on this. Unfortunately groove would make plectrum wrong for 4d. Implement for plucking strings of a guitar etc., so pretty sure the l is correct. Maybe there is a variable spelling of slooce/sloose for sluice.
