Help. Rubbish at this type of thing

Firstly, I have no idea where you got your a, b & c from

Assuming they are correct,
i) a) + b) DOES NOT = c), it = 18
iii) a) + pi = 14.14159
iv) What does this mean?

i think iv is for the quizsetter to award 4 points if i) ii) and iii) are correct
