fiat x19

one of my mates has just been given an old fiat x19, as the engines a bit knackered he wants to do an engine swap, weve had a look on the net and it looks like itl either be a uno turbo engine or a lancia 2 litre twin cam. ideally he wants to do the uno turbo but as these are getting a bit hard to find nowdays i was just wondering whether anyone has heard of any other engines being used?

I would defo go for the lancia lump over the uno, much much better engine all round
