You had me worried there Aq - I couldn't see how it could be an O, I thought I'd gone wrong somewhere. :-))

I think it should be with the A because the spelling with the O has an extra letter.

23 In my dictionary the word is spelt with an O an one L making 6 letters in all. Thought I would mention it just to throw a spanner in the works. You can obviously spell it both ways. Lets hope they will accept either as they both mean the same thing.

In Chambers, yes, another O. But not on the many entries on Google. I really hate these "stick the pin in" situations!

They should accept either, Mancunian, and there are those who believe that alternative spellings are acceptable. But I have never seen alternatives given in the published results by The Generalist or elsewhere.
