Has any one out there tried to do the griddler today? I am confused. Is there an error or am I too dumb today? If 14 starts at the bottom left hand corner then17 must start at the bottom.. In that case the top left hand corner seems to be impossible. I cannot see how 13 can be fitted in an 11 space. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

sorry to say mintoff that I finished todays griddler in record time
it seemed a bit too easy.

14 starts at the bottome right hand corner and comes across left to the centre where the 3 columns of 17,17 go right up the middle (adding up as they do to 25 squares up) to help you 9 up in the bottom left starts on the 5th square up and the two 13s next to the 9 start on the 3rd squares up - maybe that will help you get started
Sorry mintoff - I finished it fairly quickly too. Think you must have made a mistake somewhere. If you're still stuck after rockfordill's post then let me know and I'll give you a hand.

Nothing with Griddler from a mathematical point of view; I honestly thought it was one of the easier ones in that regard. The clue doesn't make such sense, though, and what exactly is SPEG?
