We were in Tuscany in September last year and my husband was bitten morning, noon and night. The bites were worst on his legs and he had hardly any skin not red and swollen. Sorry to give you this information but I'd go well prepared to fight the little blighters off.

thank you :-)
Hey dustypuss.
For the first time ever we got munched by mossies in Corfu. We used a two pronged attack, firstly sprayed ourselves before we went out in the evening , and secondly sprayed the room ( with all the windows closed) when we went out for dinner)
Unfortunately to keep the little blighters out had to sleep with windows closed at night. it was ok as they were open wide all day as were on the second floor.

Where do you normally go in Corfu btw? We normally go to St Stephano or Arillas on the NW coast

kalami bay east side. wife and I have been fore times now it was very quit first two visits but then some silly ***** person decided to place a 500w speaker in there bar and faced it up the Vally
the last time i went i requested a quite room a way from the bar but i needn't have bothered a some one had seen common sense and removed the speaker
kalami only has seven tavernas and one that you have to get a little boat to the taverna ( agni )
i was at the aphrodite & adonis aparts with thomson holidays

the place are built on a cliff so there not for the less able

if you google ( Agni ) you should find the official Corfu web site
Yes, we have visited there, beautiful little place. Mind you, apart from a few exceptions, eg Sidari, Ipsos, I find most of Corfu beautiful.
Have you noticed a lot of small resorts have started their own websites to attract the independent traveller. We have done this four times now. The big travel companies really screw the hotelliers and apartment owners.
Question Author
i haven't look at any other web site apart from Agni

suppose i better start googling !

I just look at Agni web its a 108f there at the moment that's hot

when i win the lotto ## sorry i dreaming again
