Name that tune
I remember many years ago, an idea that was shown on Tommorrow's World. It was a book that would enable people to identify the names of tunes they knew but didn't know the name of. It worked by being able to identify if the first few notes were the same higher or lower than the preceeding one. It seemed a good idea and the book was marketted but I believe failed to sell.
I would be interested if anyone else knows of this and whether something of the kind is available on the web?
(I have found, "Name My Tune" (.com) but it's not quite what I'm looking for!)

It costs 50p if it identifies it.
I can't see how a book would do this as it would have to be constantly updated.
