These lyrics are from a song which is connected with a place in the USA.
In 1880 we took a little trip along with Colonel Packington down the Mississippi.

you probably already know that the title of this is " The battle of new Orleans" the American version was by Johnny Horton, the English cover version was by Lonnie Donegan the king of skiffle. In my opinion Lonnie's was the best version.
