I'm in a fit of embarrassment here not able to think straight.
Try taking the last letters of all of them and see what that brings.

I'm nearly as embarrassed as Tim Moorey!

First of all, I'm not very good on plants, so missed the obvious 'pansy' and went for the somewhat obscure 'panax'', but, now that I've got all the right letters, and correct instructions, I still haven't a clue what this blasted rose might be!

Can anyone put me out of my misery?

Hi dred - I tried to make some progress with this - see http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Question619260. html but I'm really no further forward, except it seems it may be (5,3) rather than (3,5), which actually leaves me none the wiser - early tea?
