west end musical ?

Hi I'm wish to know the title of a piece of music I heard on ClassicFM TV.
I think the piece is from a musical as the video that accompanied the song seemed to be from a stage play. It involved a young boy singing to a distant star. On that star was a plant that flowered after being watered. This was the guist of the song as far as I know. Unfortunately I only saw a small part of the whole video so I did not see the end to identify it or to describe it more fully. However I do remember that in the video there was a chorus of several children running around on stage with models of birds on the end of poles.
I'd be most grateful if anyone out there can help me.

Couldn't you contact ClassicFM? I know they have a playlist available for their radio transmissions, maybe they have something similar for their TV. At any event they'd be the people to ask.
