I've seen"there"suggested but can't see the relevance to
the second half of the clue.Can someone explain,please?

I agree with tyrepill - the second letter of wrapped is THE R etc but it's a horrible clue (the skeleton clues get more convoluted each week!) :o)

This is one of the most ridiculous clues I've ever seen! And most certainly not one I would have devised.
