has now been updated so that quizzes are in closing date order and I have taken on board a fellow members suggestion and added a request for people to mention the site when sending off for quizzes. Many thanks

I think this site is a brilliant idea. My request would be, that when a quiz is advertised, some idea of the type of quiz should be included. ( eg. general knowledge, cryptic,ditloid or mixture ) Keep up the good work !!!! P

Yep I agree someone else said this too on my earlier post and I am trying to get this underway but its a new site my young son did for me and I just posted it to see if anyone else would find it helpful so at the minute it only has quizzes i've found myself and i've just added whatever detail there was, if people send me any to add I will try and get more detail from them. Im glad peoples reactions to it are favourable. I have just added an extra bit today so that when a quiz is finished people can announce the winner and post a copy of the answer sheet. I thought that might be useful too. Im going to add a few to this section later but at the minute ive only got my last quiz on there.

The other thing to add would be a flag of any new quizzes posted on there

I will have to see what I can do (or what my lad can do!)
I shall take them off as soon as they finish (and try and get a list of answers to post) that might help as at least it wont
be clogged up with ones that are no longer running. I must admit i'm suprised (and delighted) by the interest that people are showing in it, im glad its proving helpful lets hope it helps sell more quizzes for good causes.

I think we've sorted it so whats on there now is set and any new added from now will be flagged for a week. Thats the theory anyway, lets hope it works in practice lol
Theres a couple I dont have details for so if anyone wants to fill in any missing details..be much appreciated

I'd just like to say Thank you for promoting the Collective Christmas Quiz in aid of Guist village hall.

What a brilliant site and idea, especillay as the search facility here doesn'y always bring up new quizzes.
Perhaps you should try Dragons Den for funding :)

Many thanks for all the kind comments. Its nice people are interested as originally he did it for me to keep track of new quizzes as a sort of IT project as I teach him at home and I posted it just in case anyone else found it useful, so we are really thrilled that everyone is so kind about it and finding it a help

Thanks for posting the Cinnamon Trust Quiz - I think your site is a great idea.

Now you need to advertise it so that as many quizzers as possible know about it, both to advertise and to go to in search of a new quiz. Good idea that people mention it when sending for a quiz - also setters could mention it when preparing their quiz sheets.

Yes I have put a notice on asking people to say where they saw the quiz, I will add your suggestion about setters too

Ive got it linked to my Theatre groups website where we post our Oddbods quiz and on my Facebook i'm hoping friends will post it on groups they are in and will remember to send me details of local quizzes. It will all help advertise it.
I sent for your quiz earlier today so it helps keep me in quizzes too!
