I am now down to the last three clues in this crossword, much of which links in some way or other to Alice in Wonderland.

7d I run with the queen, one inhabitant of divided land (5)

As I cannot find words to fit I wonder if I have got something wrong somewhere. Help please!

Didn't Alice take cakes off a cake stand? Ought to know I love the book!

Thanks for all your help. Iraqi is certainly right. Cakestand and joker also sound good but mean that I have got others wrong and I am left with two sets of letters around which no words will fit m - j - t - r and m - a - m - d. I think I will give up now. I should get the answers tomorrow.
