16d has been suggested to be Freebooter??
15a muff
Question Author
muff or cuff?
Question Author
Have seen freebooter...but it conflicts with another answers which appears correct, namely 18across

18a clue: PULL AT IT (and make everything right). Answer I got was Put It All in Place. That last word would need a B where C is...for freebooter to fit.....

Any help appreciated
a referee could be a blower.

Question Author
drop the mi in that word and see why they censored it. Craziest site I know..and it even censors criticism in my past experience
