Oh well. I don't bother even reading all those Sunday Xword questions. ABers are too lazy to google for themselves or access Donsaround completed grids.
At least so & so's over now. That was great fun and I finished without asking anything.

Not really flopsymopsy. I thought a few might try a bit harder and not clog up the Quizzes and Puzzles section with Crosswords which is a section on it's own.

Good Answer lol. My apologies for misunderstanding you. I thought after reading a few of your comments the other day that you were just trying to provoke a reaction,and Oh Dear, I was ready to tell you to go and plait some spaghetti(all in good humour of course)I must admit I had thought it was quiet both yesterday and today. I agree crosswords should go in their own section but I am only just getting into this quiz lark and still learning AB etiquette. I aspire to become as good as Smouse who always seems to have the answer; No Chance!

Gosh, I don't remember what I said today let alone a few days ago flopsymopsy. But I often think it's quicker to google and get an instant correct answer than to type out on AB and wait. I'm too impatient for that.

tballrossi; I am sure I still have my L plates, and think it will be a while yet before I progress to the green ones. lol happy quizzing. Have you got all the pub names yet? I have no gaps but keep changing my mind about some of them.

Good Luck. It was smouse that recommended it originally and I just solved my GFQ anagram using it. It's brilliant.

I am all filled in except number 54, cannot get a suitable answer for the upper arms. The part that i have not liked is the fact there is more than one answer to several of the questions, so there has been alot of rubbing out and tippex. Shouldn't winge though it was alot easier than the last quiz.

Yes, you are right, I still have three answers for some of them and am having to do some lateral thinking to whittle them down. It is possible that Mr Lyall might realise that there are so many that could be correct. But what the heck, it is for a good cause.
For no 54 I have put the Volunteer Soldier, soldier being a play on shoulder for upper arms but have not been able to find a pub of that name, its just better than leaving a gap.
There is still time for some inspiration lol.
