Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Smouse - thanks for the suggestion and the plug. I will see what we can do on this one. If I can find a way so that people can just verify the number of letters in an answer without posting clues and answers with their reply i'll add it, as I am trying to keep it more of an information site for quizzers than a help forum for answers. I'll have a word with Stanley and if he can do it then yes we'll add it. Thanks i'll keep you posted on this.

Yes I realise that and thats why I didnt give a clue as too many people jump in with an answer and that isnt what I wanted just didnt want to keep looking if it was wrong

Yep i'd realised this, difficult this business of answering isnt it lol We had this on that other thread yesterday about medals where we were carefully avoiding giving answers and someone gave the answer thinking we were struggling lol We are going to add an enquiry section where people can ask if they need clarification of something and people can reply via the webmaster who will check no-one is posting clues or answers. It should be done this afternoon so i'll let you know and you can check it and see what you think. If setters provide their email when submitting i'll be able to ask them myself for people as well. Hope that helps.

Yes please do the more the better, its taking a while to get known to setters of quizzes yet theres alot like me that cannot search AB so if you miss a posting you miss out on a quiz. We are very glad of any quizzes anyone knows about
Hope the new section is what you had in mind.
