Sorry, I can't think of a clue, but -

The following is an extract from Wikipedia...

"...was a quiz called "Double or Drop", where each contestant was given a prize to hold for each question answered correctly, but given a cabbage if they answered incorrectly. They were out of the game if they dropped any of the items they were holding or received a third cabbage..."
Hello there, Taking me back many years the quiz on Crackerjack was Double or drop.

Thanks for your answers. I can remember quite clearly Double or Drop but not Take a letter. They were both on Crackerjack.

I should have written ... largest German battleship
Thi is a bit of a misleading question on the part of the setter as Ted Heath had 5 boats called Morning cloud. I think you'll find 3 of them sank but certainly by no means all.
Again, from Wikipedia -

"...[Tirpitz]...was the largest battleship ever built in Europe, with dimensions slightly exceeding those of her sister ship...[Bismarck]..."
The Yamato class ships of the Japanese navy were wider, longer and much heavier than Bismarck/ Tirpitz.
