MM and KM Links November 2008 [Week 1]

Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!

Welcome to this first week in the reign of Tricksy Strix-y, who should appear in person tomorrow! It is true to say that Strix is a relatively recent addition to the Shrubbery family, yet he has been able to capture the playful mood instantly. He has proved to have a sharp wit and a truly unique grasp of language. All the text is ready for tomorrow's launch of MM Links and I am looking forward to an exhilarating month of challenges from him.

Don't forget that this will be a five-week month, so you better make every effort to engage with the shining wit (not a Spoonerism) of Strix. So batten down the hatches and prepare for bloody battle. The posting should open at 8.45am and the four words to be linked should be declared at 9.00am tomorrow, when MM Links kicks off in earnest. Remember, remember ~ that early hits gain bonus points!

I tried to find out if she was going to Blackpool on Tuesday for a ride on The Big One, but she's not letting on what she is doing. Nothing sensible I bet!!!!!

It's another special person's birthday on Nov 3rd. It's my baby boy's birthday!!!!!! OK he will be 32 but he's still my baby!!!!!
I had a parcel in the post today, it doesn't say where it's from , just "Don't open until Nov. 3rd , i bet you do" well I haven't and I won't. I also received 3 birthday cards and I won't open them either.
