KM Links Game - November week 1 Results

Good morning, A bleary eyed gen2 here before crawling into his pit. Just posting this to lay claim to this space. Here is where I hope someone is soon going to post the greyed answers from Kate Mepham's Herculis crossword.

That will then enable me to set the counters in motion and score the game around 8 am (if I wake up in time). A new month and a blank scoresheet so everyone is in with an equal opportunity. I sincerely hope this is higher scoring than the MM Game was yesterday or there is going to be a lot of unhappy campers.

I'll report back later once the answers have been posted and I've had time to do the necessary.

Yes, it has been a very good opening weekend with 35 point scorers out of 54 entrants.
Thanks to the early risers, the game started at 6:44 on Saturday and first off the blocks was the eccles family who between them claimed all the honours. Mrs E showed she was still in great form by matching THREE of the links, CROCODILE TEARS, CENTRAL HEATING & CPOP CIRCLE for a massive 6 points. How's that for an opening shot.? Mr E picked up the remaining link of MIRROR IMAGE for just 2 points.

Nobody was within the regulation 2 minutes so no more bonus points. WELL DONE Mrs E you are this weeks TOP SCORER.
Four players did though manage to equal three hits (though too late for bonuses). They were devadiva, freebi 2, patchett & roslyn251254

Congratulations to Mrs E for getting 3 right and getting 6 points
Howevever, so that anyone outside the Eccles household has a chance to earn bonus points could we please revert to the established principle whereby the person posting the words waits for approx. 2 minutes before submitting their entry.
This gives the other early risers with fingers poised a chance to earn bonus points.
