Daniela - I think it's a little harsh sending an email to the editor to get penman banned. He is new, and although it is annoying that he has used up 15 slots on the front page(s) there is no way that he could be expected to know that he is expected to post all - (or, at least, a good many) - clues in one posting. The new editor, in his wisdom, has removed the instruction - when asking a question- that all clues should be included in one post. It would be more constructive to ask him to reinstate it.

I have asked the Editor numerous times to add clue "or clues" in the instruction, and add it it Crosswords as well. Even got told once it was being done! Have asked again this morning. I don't have much sympathy for Penman as he is obviously not looking at the answers and advice he is being given.

Yes, I am new. I did try to put all my questions into one 'post' but they looked so muddled that I then separated them. I am, by the way, a 68 yr-old and can I hope, be forgiven for not knowing the rules of 'this game'. I will not post any more questions, now or ever. Oh please Mr. Penman, most of the people who got annoyed will have calmed down now and will accept your explanation and forgive you for what is only a beginners mistake after all. Please don't desert us, we need some new blood and it is always nice to welcome the older generation (I'm a bit older than you by the way). I hope you find some interesting answers to your question.
