In case anyone is tearing their hair out, clues 15 and 18A have been transposed. Took me a while to fathom it; but doubtless they will declare it null and void! Null points to the compiler/proofreader today; shame, as it's quite a good cryptic normally.
Quite agree - but I bet there will be no apology - and they might not even notice. A few weeks ago - on a Sunday - there were two different answers to the two sets of clues that are supposed to have the same answer - RoSeS and RaSpS - and nothing was ever said.
Thanks for reply; we live in hope that 100 will wing its way (I wish) I've sent it anyway. Have emailed Expr Xword editor several times over last year to point out grammatical/syntactical boo-boos in Crusader - he has replied to each with a plausible, if defensive, explanation - quick to blame his"compilers" (who I presume get a lot more for their faulty productions than the prize offered......!!)
