I was assuming the ? indicated that it was perhaps relevant to any sport, and that rugby was just used as an example.

This thread has opened up a can of worms.
My original question has only produced one suggestion (from sarumite) but it is good to know people are still working on this quiz. Yes it is quite hard, but very rewarding when you stumble on the answer.
