hi puzzlemaster i did think of curlew but where do you get the two directions BEFORE the bend , maybe i am missing something

Hi Duntocher,

I agree with your comment as East/West is after curl (bend)? It fitted at the time.

Anyone else got any thoughts as that is best I have at moment.
