Can anyone remember a TV series a professor gave Christmas Lectures would be very pleased if anyone came tell me the name of th series or where i can find out. thank you

thank you but that is not what i an looking for sorry it was on channel four i think thank you for your time any way.
Are you perhaps thinking of the Royal Institute's Christmas lectures - these were always aimed a children and were very entertaining. I don't know if they still do them though. Maybe you could Google for it.
I think you will find it is correct.

THese were originally shown on BBC buy recently they have been on C4.

thank you all very much for your time but i have not found what i was looking for ,it was late 80's early 90's and he was talking to students in a big hall. never mind thank you all for your time wish i could remember his name. cheers P
It's on the tip of my tongue. I'll try to remember.
I think it was Lord Reith Christmas Lectures I was thinking of which was BBC but I do remember the room you described that was full of young people.

Yes! He was the name I was thinking of but he died in 1974. He was BBC2.
