is anesthetic right for Q1 and marabout for Q46?

any clues for the following would be gratefully received:

11, 16, 26, 30, 31, 42, 53 and 76

for some reason the last page has seemed a lot easier this time!

Yes....shannee CLUES were asked for not answers ..then you wonder why others who do these quiizzes get steamed up when answers are given away willy nilly .

Thank you all for your help. I asked for clues because I like to solve them myself, but it was generous to give the answers as well.
Unfortunately, I typed two numbers incorrectly - should have been 15 and 44 - and only have moth part of 65. Clues or answers welcome.

Have just seen that you still need clues for some:-
44. another word for an excursion plus a word for a narrow road gives you the name of an old aeroplane.
65. moth is right for second word' for 'pile' something in the house that has it.
15. cant think of a clue but the answer is missel thrush.
I still have some to do but will keep on trying for a while.

Thanks Vicmarion - triplane and missel thrush make sense, but I'm not sure what the "3 months prison sentence" has to do with carpet.

I was just saying that the OP asked for clues ..in view of the aggro in the past from giving outright answers I thought it best to avoid that route and avoid further arguement . Yes it is a Q&A site but the Rainbow Quiz is always a bone of contention when answers are just given away . But as you generously gave the answers anyway I seem to have wasted my time .

No Pasta. no cliques on there.. just one or two who think the new broom is doing a good job when he clearly isn't .
It's very frustrating when you look for stuff and it can't be found .
Especially in Q&P when whingers start having a go and saying "This has been answered before " .Yes it may have been but you can't bloomin' find it . �
