My wife had already been divorced with two small children when we met. We did loads of things together, like picnics, etc We loved each other and our love life was good. Her kids were looked after by her parents who hated me; my parents hated her, esp.my father. But when my father died, we saw the main obstacle to marriage gone as my mother was' warming' to my girlfriend and her parents were warming to me too esp. since I went into meltdown when my father died. My father was deaf and although I loved him I never liked him as he was an emotionally bully and we never 'spoke' since I left University. We got married and that's when trouble started. Her father died 4 yrs.later and I get on ok with her mum who can be a bully to everyone too.My wife's brothers' and sisters' rarely visit her. My wife's youngest daughter has two small girls who live with my wife's mother. My wife dotes on the kids and every free minute she's got she's round there. Her daughter is a lazy 26 yr. on benefits and doesn't work.Never have contact with the eldest daughter as she despises me.We've been married ten years. My wife happens to work with me, but other than that I never see her cos she's round her mother's all the time. We have our own house, but no kids of our own and I won't have her lot round here.I feel lost and lonely as she is defintely not the woman I married. Our love life no longer exists and if I don't rein her in sometimes she can become a bitch. I suppose I still 'love' her and she 'loves' me as we celebrate our anniversary. It should be said I'm not English, but still a Christian and in our culture marriages are arranged to which I was opposed even as as a kid. While her father was still alive, things were better even though he never attended our Church blessing to which I felt slighted. I didn't like him as my wife confided at the start of our relationship her father f----d her as a child. Oh, God what have I done!!!???
