KM Links Game - December week 1

Good morning all - as promised I have returned to take up the reins once again, thus allowing gen2 to sleep in until a civilised hour of the morning and what's all this I hear about midnight feasts and keeping the dear boy up till all hours - now is that nice ???
I'm very grateful to gen2 for holding the fort through what has been a very busy month.....and I didn't even get to leave home - well not for any real length of time !!! and you should see the spread sheet he has mailed me for the month of November - it's truly a work of art and should be framed - talk about immaculate !!!
Sounds like I'm doing the preamble for MM links, doesn't it, but no it's just the lead up to one of the early risers posting this morning's links along with their own selection, for us to then fall upon with glee and type in our own.
For the benefit of any newcomers or passers-by, these link words are the shaded ones from this morning's Daily Telegraph GK Crossword by Kate Mepham and the aim is to predict the matches Kate will make come Monday's Herculis so if you fancy your chances, have a crack at it - lots of fun even if no points scored.
And just before I go, congratulations again to Mrs E who has taken to this little contest like a veritable duck to water and has been successful for the last two consecutive months....that is quite some achievement - will she manage to make it three in a row...stay tuned !!
I'll now post this and stand well clear........Good Luck !!
