had my 20 wk scan a few weeks ago and didnt ask the sex. when she was looking at baby im sure i saw two lumps which looked to me like lady bits! im sure at this stage, if it was a boy id have seen a willy right? already have a daughter so was kinda hoping it was a boy this time, but it seems not. im glad its healthy and i know i will love it just as much when its born just didnt imagine myself with 2 girls! its weird how things work out sometimes........and i cant think of ANY more girls names i like so it will have to be called baby!!!

HIYA,
well they actually dont tell the sex by looking for a willy, as the above note says they look for the white lines, surely the boys bits at 20 weeks would be way to small for them to see and wouldnt be definate, they definatly tell by white lines, i remember from my first, tho im sure one was 2 lines and one was 3?? but the other answer says 3 or 1 but i could be wrong was 8 years ago lol! xx

My friend was told that she was definitely having a girl, by the lady doing the ultrasound scan, um......... her baby is now a strapping 29 year old man!!! The cord went round between his legs making him look as if he was a girl. Anyway, in my humble opinion, knowing the gender before baby is born is like opening ones presents before xmas. Why not wait for the joyful surprise when baby is born?
actually the boys bits are very visable at 20wks as we decided to find out the sex of our last child to be prepared as he was due close to xmas and there was no doubt about him being a boy on the screen, we could clearly see his testes and his dinky!!! very clearly! he was a big lad tho when he was born and i was quite small beforehand!
