There are a few of us that bring in either home made cakes or bought ones through out the year, then christmas starting rearing and suddenly start getting boxes of shortbread and tins of sweets, total overload, but there are some cheapskates at my work the ones that buy the cheapest stuff and think that they are doing us a favour, never bring in anything any other times, but are quite willing to fill there faces on whatever others bring in regularly!!!

Make some homemade biscuits especially for them......with a topping made from laxative chocolate

Whoo mrs o you are so wicked!!
I don't see what the problem is. If you don't want to share them, don't take them in. It wouldn't enter my head to buy something throughout the year for my colleagues, but some of the girls do and without reservation, encourage the biccies and choc to be eaten.

To complain about the price they have spent when they DO return the favour at Christmastime sounds ungrateful. Damned if they do and damned if they don't?
Ah can see the Scotish in there now. :-)
Bah humbug!

offers Lakitu a homebaked biscuit with a lovely chocolate filling.....
LOL, errr, I think I'll pass on the offer this time, Mrs O ;o)
My dad and I take turns to buy goodies, but we keep them in the office for ourselves now. We used to buy for the guys in the warehouse, too, but they have only ever taken and have never brought anything in, in turn.
just get a lovely tin of choccies label them mine and eat them especially in front of those who havent shared throughout the year and are on a diet before xmas exclaiming yum yum very loudly as you devoire each one he he
Here at my work, we have a constant flow of cakes and biccies.

We don't have a rota and we all bring something decent in to work.

I am sitting here looking at a giant tin of Foxes luxury biscuits and I'll probably bring in a tin next week!!!
:oO Are they Fox's Creations, funny? Mine! :)

You are fortunate that you all take turns, sadly about a third of our staff never bring anything in,i tease them though, especially when there donation to the christmas goodies is a cheap box of dutch shortcake biscuits, well going to make chocolate eclairs next week as one of the guys loves them, going to make him a giant one,and will check the rotas to see who is on!!!!
you can see the results allready, :-)
Yeah, they are!!

Want one?
I can't stop at one, funny! They are my very favourites. Apparently they're on offer in Farm Foods at the moment, if you want to get me some, though. :)
maybe people just cant afford them maybe some are loan parents who would prefer to spend money for luxuries on their kids instead of work collegues, but if not still buy your own tin of nice ones and eat them in front of them lol

zzzeee sorry but not hard up,the ones are couples with no chilblains and both working lol!!!
then they have no excuse puddi shame on them...
If it's that much of a problem, why not just take your usual stuff in and if those that dont buy try to take some, say that it's not on offer to them as they, themselves, dont share.

Failing that, why not just take in your own stuff for yourself?

And failing that, stop taking in altogether.

Got to agree with Lakitu on this one, though....
I just love the white chocolate coated ones!!!

Go and treat yourself Whiskey!!
Want one too Logic???
