Good morning AB Linkers..

When you read this I should be far too busy taking pictures of penguins and, if I'm lucky, seals, to worry whether my house is still standing after my children's traditional after Christmas poker night party!

My last snapshot showed me running wild. This happy state of affairs quickly came to an end when I was sent away to a convent boarding school suitably be-gloved and be-hatted. When I left four years later, I could eat an orange with a knife and fork, write a reference for a housekeeper, and had a pretty good knowledge of Latin military vocabulary. Decades on, I still wait for any of those impressive life skills to be of the slightest use to me.
