Kids names.

Looking through the local parish magazine I found the baptism page.
Here are some of the names the parents' have landed their kids with.

Madison Daisy Doris.

Henry Rupert.

Lewis Brett.

Would you do the same to your kids?

Madison, Henry and Lewis are lovely names, and the middle names aren't bad either, plus they might be to do with grandparents or relatives. What's your idea of a "nice" name then??

Lewis Brett sounds like a make of diesel engine. Madison is a cycle race, & Rupert is a bear.

Well, every name is going to "sound like something" to someone! For example, I would never name a child Julie, Helen, or Alison because those are three people I can't stand. See? All down to personal taste and experience! :-P

one mother has kids called.. Ruby, Amber and Jade - I said it sounded like a set of traffic lights! went down like a lead balloon - oops!!!

I see a lot of kids names in my line of work. Some of the more bizzare ones i can remember:

Trilby Pink
Strawberry Twigg
Chand'Cor Skye
Nightingale

Plus a family whose surname began with an "f" and the kids were called Faisley, Faaron and Farley. eek

I think it dpeends on the person as some names just suit.

I know someone called Saffron and it really suits her.

A friend of mine had a son he called, first and middle name, after characters from Greek mythology, I can't say what as I really don't imagine there is anyone else with his name out there!
