Strikes third in line to the throne with something hard (11) This cryptic clue should resolve to a place name in the British Isles. Any ideas? Thanks - Micky

Hendrerwydd - could it be this, a town in Wales? Has Henry in the name Hendrerwydd ( Prince Henry- 3rd in line to throne) Thought it could be Isle of Harris originally, yet, this has 12 letters not 11. Not saying that Hendrerwydd is right, just an educated guess. Hope your answer comes very soon. Ciao for now, hugs, Bea :-)
Prince Harry was christened Henry. Hope my post starts the ball rolling, now! Good luck mappamundi! Ciao, Bea :-)

Thanks to Beatrice for the suggestion - it wasn't the correct answer but spurred me on to further lateral thinking.

There is a place - according to Multimap - called Knockharry on the Isle of Man. This fits with the clue although it is not a good clue in my humble opinion.
Not a good clue AND only ten letters.
Was looking for an answer with 11 letters not 10;-). Yet delighted that you have your answer mappamundi :-) So all's well that ends well ;-)
Hugs, Beatrice :-)

Sorry folks it WAS 11 - Knocksharry - I made a typo!
This fits better with the clue as in "Strikes" for "Knocks" but, for me, the "with something hard" is superfluous. Simply "strikes third in line to the throne" would have been sufficient.

Thanks for your interest! mm :-)
