I'm stuck on 1 across and 5 down. 1ac, 'Filthy rich love to tutor place for singers.' (5,6). This looks like CHOIR SCHOOL. 5d starts from the H. 'A tough new iniquitous den' (4,3). This looks like GANG HUT but the G doesn't fit. Any thoughts, anybody? Cheers, Andy

1a Choir school is correct.

Anagram of RICH + O (for love) giving CHOIR. Tutor = SCHOOL.
If 5d starts with 'H', then -

Hang-out - anag 'A tough n(ew)' (?)
