Beatrice is entitled to use this site as she sees fit and there is sod all you can do about so you will just have to to put up with it .If you don't like it then don't respond .
There is no need to pick on and castigate people for giving a wrong answer .I am certainly not going to encourage B to decamp from Q&P .She lights up a lot of peoples dull days with her cheerful outlook and I for one can do with a bit cheering up at the moment .
Take a step back and think of others .Nobody knows what crosses people have to bear in private .Lots of us come on here for a bit of R&R
If Beatrice wants to have a go at answering people I am not going to decry her (even if she does get them wrong sometimes: ) She can give me an angel hug anyday with what I have had to go through recently.
So, pick the bones out of that one and have a bit of thought for others .You never know ,you may find yourself needing a bit of comfort from some of the lovely people on here at some stage.
No need for this sort of sarcasm and nastiness to someone who comes across as a lovely caring person .

Fine, Shaneystar2 - you can do what you wish! But i will continue to encourage her not to use the part of the site where she is not put to her best advantage - and there is 'sod all' (lovely language that!) you can do about it.

No, I have friends and family that I turn to whenever I need comfort - and would never seek comfort on here.

shaneystar2- Firstly big big hugs to you + some (i) angel hugs (i) too! Do not let anyone stop you from posting here please - you are special in your own wonderful right. Certainly would not let any alley cat, intellectual snob or Scrooge influence my posting on here or anywhere else. Cat always likes to have the last word sadly + never listens to anyone else's point of view except her self. All that matters is that one tries ones best in this life. Not afraid to make a mistake + can take self lightly. Not scared of foolish alley cats either. Wouldn't it be good if all the perfectiionists, pedantics, brain snobs just buzzed off to another site + made their own + this was more light hearted?! :-) ;-) Being decent is not merely about swearing or not swearing, besides b----y is a mild swear word anyhow, being decent is being respectful to all. Have plenty of friends + a loving husband so anything an alley cat says to me makes not an iota of difference- if she thinks it does then she is a penknife short of a survival kit ;-) Aquagility- you cannot reason with the Cat- she is beyond reason or our kind of sublime imaginations anyhow. One can take comfort from any kind of source one likes- Shaneystar2 - life is surprising like that- you just never know where you will encounter either angels or some kindness or comfort. Neurological condition is a blessing in many ways as has opened my heart, my mind + my spirit to all kinds of wonderful blessings/posibilities. Sometimes cognitively challenges, sometimes challenged in body + sometimes challenged in both, yet, not challenged by individuals with limited imaginations or spirits or challenged in sense of humour. How sad Beatrice35. How truly sad. Your so-called 'friends' on this site are you doing you no favours whatsoever by their attacks on me and their not seeing that you answer cryptic questions more right than wrong.

Sadly too, you fail to see that you are limited in what you can do, as we all are, and cannot do 'anything' you set your mind to - life as an adult does not work that way as we simply do not have the talents to do everything.

If you are not prepared to see that this portion of the site is all about correct answers - that is what questioners come for after all - then I am genuinely sorry for you.

Its is you who keep missing the point - this portion of the site is called quizzes and puzzles and questions are asked that require correct answers. You are blind if you fail to see that you do not give correct answers more often than not. Tell me, Beatrice35 - what is the point of giving a wrong answer?

In what way are you enlightened? That is the funniest thing I have heard in a long while! How exactly do you give an angel hug? Do you command the angels? PMSL.

I liked your cryptic clue, Bea. Best of luck writing your book, I am also trying to write a childrens book (that will become a series all going well), but find it harder work than anticipated.

If we could ban everyone we dont like I would ban those who put dtgk 34d, 35a. and expect answers. I would ban those who then give them answers. I would ban those who refuse to give clues, and then say "I have taken your comments on board" and do exactly the same next time. I would ban those who list each question in a whole string of separate posts. I would ban those who dont acknowledge answers that you have spent the last hour finding out for them. Oh and those who post a question that they could have got on goodle in 3 seconds flat.
