I am trying to complete this quiz, but still have seven questions unanswered. 31. get letters from this point of sale terminal operator (9) 46. resembling a squirrel when mixed they could be said to be cygnets (6 3 6) 54. place to lock up carousing singers inside (4 4) 62. TT worn out (7) 82. mcmanus took an old us airline in for samuel (4 5) 87. add up pulses evenly making two beats to in a bar (5) 89. the devil gets back from a barbeque dinner party (5) Any clues most welcome, although I realise some of you are looking for the same. Thanks.
Can anyone help me with no 55 please? Start working without Mr Sumner and produce the graphics (7). This is the only answer I have left to find (not sure if they are all righty!,) apart from the squirrel one which seems to have everyone stumped!
Now my problem is that the introduction says that the letters 'two' appear in 20 of the answers and I can find it in 21. Did anyone else find the same?
I've got a feeling we're barking up the wrong tree about 31. The answer I have does have 'two' in it but I feel the whole word possibly means 'an operator' and it doesn't exactly. That may be where my extra one came from. I have no other ideas though!
