Im of the opinion you are that its supposed to be fun but fair. Opinions are very divided on this issue but whatevers said the outcome will remain the same. I think alot think setters just do it for the money and dont care about anything except sales, you and I know its not like that at all. I hope you enjoy Greece ive never been abroad. Furthest ive been is Ireland a few weeks ago that was amazing I loved it.

If I knew who some of the comments came from by way of who compiles the quiz I would stop buying from that compiler and then the charity loses out - well done!!!

This thread and the other one mentioned earlier is the reason people leave this site

I know a number of people who have stopped using this site because of this sort of post - I also know I wont buy from certain quiz compilers now !!!!!

What would be useful is if on all posts in the Q&P section it showed alongside the person posting how many posts they had initiated in the Q&P section (ie roughly how many questions they had asked) and how many posts they had responded to in the Q&P section (ie roughly how many answers they had given).

Now admittedly a post asking for the answers to many questions would only count the same as a post asking for the answer to one question. And posts except the first on a thread like this would effectively be counted as �answers�. But at least it would give an indication if someone was a serial �asker� and never gave anything in return or vice versa.

Then someone thinking of answering a question could at least see if the person asking the question was someone who only ever asked before deciding whether or not to post the answer.

I try to do that now as some are happy to give and take but there are so many who ask and ask and ask and if you then ask if they have one you need - guess what - they are still working on that one and then out come the expressions
I needed a kick start, I'm desperate to get if finished etc etc

I've asked just over 500 and answered over 5000

I'm a newbie on here compared to you but my current 'score' would be asked 2, answered 37.

I know what you mean about the askers who won't help in return. You think they are likely to know an answer to a question you are stuck on (because they asked for help on six questions from the quiz but not that one). So you answer one or two for them but when you ask them for help in return their answer comes back 'I've not got that far yet' or some other such rubbish.

I'm sure we could all find reasons why we should win. Surely it's the quality of the answer that counts.

If you don't perhaps you can't see why some of us are so frustrated when we have spent hours on a quiz and there are obviously a few killer questions and then someone who doesnt realise what the quiz is or that it's perhaps a deciding answer just gives the answer to someone who we all know wont have tried at all. You also won't know when it closes or how many questions. I have seen one person ask 40 on a quiz with only 50 questions
