Unable to post answers

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing problems here, but I posted an answer last night which disappeared almost immediately, and now I can't post any, so I'm trying it in the 'question' bit. I noticed that some of Octavius's answers, which were perfectly reasonable, have disappeared too.

My apologies to anyone expecting a response from me. I have emailed both the Ed and the technical team, so hopefully normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.

Now let's see if this works!

I don't want to disillusion you, but I found that posting a reply to your own question was working, while posting to someone else's was a pain!
