  hypotenuse (c) equation is

c squared = a squared (20x20= 400) + b squared (21 x 21 =441)

400 + 441= 841 to find hypotenuse you have to have square root of this answer which is 29 therefore hypotenuse = 29

The square of a hypotenuse on a right angled triangle is equal to the sum of the square of the other two sides!
