KM Links Game - February week 1

Second time around and I'm not even going to mention my disappointment when no parcels of snow arrived in my mail box � no heat for you, you stingy lot !!

So this time, I'm taking the sensible route and will try cut/paste � nothing more deflating than seeing lines of typing vanish into the deep blue nowhere !!!

And it'll be a lot shorter and to the point given the time frame, etc considering that our early riser might by now by patiently sitting and waiting to post this morning's words plus their own ideas and then the fun will start,

As usual, the rules are very simple, so much so as to be almost invisible � no restrictions on word lengths and while I appreciate some may wish to alter their entries once they've actually seen the crossword, just bear a thought for the scorer in mind � I shall say this only once !!!!

How amusing, I love the asterisks! My entry has been bowdlerised/censored!

The link word I supplied was the object you use in plumbing to stop the flow of water!! I was NOT using a slang word to describe part of the male anatomy.

So in an attempt to finally get a link word posted here is yet another suggestion:
