Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Is this a crossword or a quiz? If a quiz, what's the theme?

I'm guessing you've gone to bed, lapworth, but I'll ask anyway - my reasoning's pretty loose, but any chance it's birds?

Using 'Play' as a cue for an anagram, I can see 'Flamingo' from 'golf I'm an', but then can't place the 'expert'...

...And if it is birds, I'm then stuck on your "One over the eight"...

Ah well, sorry if this was a waste of time, but if you re-post in the morning, someone will surely be able to help! :-)

thankyou very much lie in king They are birds and it is a quiz. I think it must be flamingo but like you I can't work out the expert bit. We've done 48 of them and these last two are drviving us nuts !!!!!!!!!

Hope you get to read this as I have never used this site before and am not sure how to reply to you.

Thanks, lapworth - yes, you've replied in exactly the right way! You'll find that a lot of the people that answer here will check back through "My Profile" (top left of screen) to see if they can follow-up, etc.

I'll keep thinking on them...
