Just wondered, if anyone here can help me, as need more material for my chapter 'Lifebelts' for my 'happy' book( title under wraps). Lifebelts chapter is all about heroic acts/courage. Have some material, yet, need more. Hoping you guys can help please. Book is about ah, a-ha and ha-ha in each of the 12 chapters ah(- heart warming), ha-ha( humorous) and a-ha( eureka, thought provoking). Poems, clean funny jokes, short stories + positive snippets needed. Look forward to your input. Many thanks for your help.Bless you, Dios te benidga :-) Warmest wishes, Bea :-)

Old Salt- Not always very good at explaining what is clear to me in my own head;-)- part of my neurological condition, yet will try to clarify for you all!! Basically, want any positive snippets on the subject of courage/altruism/philanthropy/rescue stories/extraordinary acts of kindness
Can be true short stories, can be short parables, proverbs, quotes, poems, clean funny jokes or funny thought provoking tales all on this heroic/courage type theme.
Thanks Old Salt for wanting to help me, too, means a great deal to me :-)
Big hugs, Bea :-)
Hope that that is clearer?!

Canary42- Fantastic!! Bless you!!
Just received some very good news this morning too- have copyright permission to use the Grateful Whale story from the San Francisco Chronicle from the author himself Peter Fimrite :-) ( to either include in my Lifebelts chapter or my Animals chapter)! Feels like it is all coming together :-)
Warmest wishes, Bea :-)
